Who We Are

Jan 27th, 2016 by admin | 0

God created you. Jesus Christ died for you. God loves you. That makes you extremely valuable. That means you have worth, God given worth. Because Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and because he was raised from the dead on the third day, we can be forgiven of the sins, misdeeds, failures and mistakes of our past. Never give up on yourself. God is the great “fixer” who can help you turn around if your life has been headed in a bad direction.

You may wonder, “What does ‘Brethren’ mean?” Well, ‘Brethren’ is just an old word meaning we are sisters and brothers because of our relationship to Jesus Christ. We are sisters and brothers who get along with each other and like each other, too!

Jesus Christ is our Savior. But Jesus is more than just the Savior of our sins. Jesus is our leader, our teacher, and the example, or pattern, for our lives. If we could all live like Jesus, wouldn’t this world be a much better place? Every day we want to be more like Jesus. We need the help of God’s Spirit to accomplish that. And we pray for each other, too. We ask God to make us more like Jesus.

We are on an exciting journey to see what God wants to accomplish in our lives. Would you like to join us on that journey?

We would loveĀ for you to visit us and worship with us.
